2019 Maine STEM Parternship Fall Summit

Strengthening Research-Guided STEM Teaching and Learning for Maine Students: Targeted Initiatives in the Maine STEM Partnership

November 22-23, 2019
The Samoset Resort, Rockland, ME

This year's summit is going to follow a special format highlighting some of the multi-year communities that are currently working within the Maine STEM Partnership. It will focus on middle school computer science integration being done in the STEM+C study, pre-service teacher preparation and retention within the NSF Teaching Fellows program, and evidence-guided course modification at the University level, and building capacity for elementary science using the new FOSS Next Gen science resources. These groups will participate in a combination of working sessions and general workshops.

For those in our community who are unable to attend the summit this year, please consider registering for the RiSE Center conference taking place June 28-30, 2020 and stay tuned for information on next year's summit!
