FREE one-hour long discussions with other STEM teachers statewide discussing challenges and triumphs in the classroom.
STEM+C: MIDDLE SCHOOL COMPUTER SCIENCE INTEGRATION (Grant Funded)
JULY 13 - 16, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
This meeting is for teachers participating in the STEM+C grant beginning in January 2019. This program will be specially designed to build content knowledge needed to teach the computer science content that is integrated into the new modules to be taught during the 2020-21 school year.
PRODUCTIVE TALK (Virtual)
6 meetings, 4 - 5:30pm
This community will learn, practice and share their experiences with specific strategies that promote sense making discussions between and among students. These sessions are adapted from "Talk Science" developed by the Inquiry Project at TERC. High school and middle school examples will be highlighted in the sessions with elementary examples available if needed by the community.
