High School Earth and Space Science Community

Join other high school Earth and space science teachers and University of Maine faculty for four sessions during the 2020-21 school year to discuss teaching strategies and share lessons connected to frequently challenging topics in Earth and space science.

During each session we'll have the chance to do the following:

  • deepen our understanding of key concepts in high school Earth science
  • network with other high school Earth science teachers and share successful lessons
  • work through model lessons aligned with NGSS
  • explore research supported pedagogical strategies and incorporation of NGSS practices
