High School Earth and Space Science Community
Join other high school Earth and space science teachers and University of Maine faculty for four sessions during the 2020-21 school year to discuss teaching strategies and share lessons connected to frequently challenging topics in Earth and space science.
SESSION TOPICS
During each session we'll have the chance to do the following:
- deepen our understanding of key concepts in high school Earth science
- network with other high school Earth science teachers and share successful lessons
- work through model lessons aligned with NGSS
- explore research supported pedagogical strategies and incorporation of NGSS practices
