A Model Program to Engage Students in Authentic, Technology-Infused Coastal Research and Monitoring: Building Student Data Literacy and Career Competency Through Partnership
Project Goals
Develop lessons that integrate computer science (including the use of relevant technologies), marine science content, and data literacy into middle and high school classroom instruction.
Engage students in authentic research practices, particularly around monitoring relevant coastal data in
their communities
Determine what both teachers and students need to successfully achieve these goals together during instruction and learning
