Would you like to use a 3D printer in your classroom but don't have access to one?
The RiSE Center has 14 3D printers that are available to loan out to schools. These printers are made available to classroom teachers by the Perloff Family Foundation and the RiSE Center. Teachers can request to borrow one of these printers for a 3 month period during the school year. We currently have 7 Makerbot Replicator 2 and 7 Flashforge Finders available to loan out.
Priority is given to teachers who have attended a summer 3D printing workshop at the RiSE Center and are using the printers to teach a lesson developed during one of these workshops. We want to place these printers into science and math classrooms to allow classroom teachers to integrate them into everyday classroom instruction around relevant science and math standards.
